With nearly 40 years of industry experience, and over three decades serving educational institutions as a broker, Sam is the Fred C. Church/AssuredPartners Education Vertical Leader. In addition to leading the practice, he provides risk management advice and insurance brokerage services to numerous individual colleges, universities, independent schools, and prominent outdoor organizations. In Sam’s role, he also manages several insurance buying consortiums for various education associations.
After graduating from Trinity College in Connecticut, Sam took his first steps in the field at Chubb Insurance Group. Outside of work, Sam has served on several boards, including being Treasurer at Pingree School and President of the Massachusetts Independent Association of Insurance Agents. He is a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and has his designation as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM).
