Panel Discussion
THE EASY, THE HARD, AND THE UNPREDICTABLE
Trends & Best Practices in Property Loss + Employee Injury Prevention
This fall’s event will include a panel discussion concerning property conservation. The focus will be on current trends and risk mitigation opportunities on school campuses, including events that can typically be controlled with proper planning, events that may be preventable with more risk management training for staff and the student population, and weather-related storm damage that a school may not be able to prevent but that it can certainly prepare for.
Amy Daley of Fred C. Church will lead our panel of industry leaders, who include:
- Susan Harrington, CFO, of Brewster Academy, who can share a recent claims experience;
- Joe Saccoccio, AVP Risk Engineering Branch Manager, and Matt Coyle, SVP Territory Underwriting Manager of the Chubb Property Insurance team, who will speak to loss drivers, loss prevention recommendations, and steps a school can take to improve its property risk profile;
- Steve Sorkin, CEO of Restore24, a restoration company, will cover the steps a school should take once the claim has been reported.
A Workers’ Comp Conversation with MEMIC
Speakers Adam Levesque (Loss Control) and Jared Payton (Claims) will join for a discussion on some back-to-basic steps your school can take to control Workers’ Compensation claims from faculty and staff. Other topics they will cover include:
