On Sunday, September 17th a team of Fred C. Church employees and family members walked to raise money for the more than 142,000 people in Massachusetts and New Hampshire have Alzheimer’s disease. Until there is a cure, every action we take is aimed at helping people to live with the disease and moving research towards effective treat-ments. The Alzheimer’s Association’s outreach and support has increased each year to meet the needs of those living with the challenge of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. All funds raised support the research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Walking and the Promise Garden are meaningful ways to honor those who have been affected by the disease.
